This 15th August , Dhamaal invokes patriotism by spreading Desh-Raag

The week long initiative starts with The Power of the Slogan. Just as the Freedom struggle gave rise to famous slogan like “Vande Mataram”, Tum hame khoon do..etc…, the public is to coin slogan on India Now, to inspire themselves as well as the society at large.

Carrying the spirit further, the next step is to invoke extensive patriotism and participation of the public towards a pledge to the nation. This show of solidarity will be reflected by lighting up of candles by our listeners all over at a pre-ordained time of 8.15 p.m on 15^th August.

The momentum will be built up from 11^th till 15^th August to light the candle of Awakening by one and all- through promos, celeb bytes, Jock talk, count downs etc…

Already , the slogans are pouring in through Sms and IVRS.

BBC World Service Trust’s Drama “Life Gulmohar Style” on Dhamaal 24

Life Gulmohar Style, BBC World Service Trust’s popular radio drama, will now be aired on Dhamaal 24- a popular Indian radio station of the media giant B.A.G Network. Dhamaal 24 will air the show from 22nd February 2010, according to a joint press statement issued in New Delhi.

Dhamaal 24, B.A.G Films & Media Ltd’s Radio Network is now on air at three additional stations. Ahmednagar, Jalgaon and Jabalpur are now operational from Dhamaal 24’s kitty taking the total number of Dhamaal’s on air stations to 9.
